The November 2003 Concorde liner was not included in this issue. Its continuation is only a matter of time. On March 22, Overture’s Boom XB-1 pole flew its final flight of the summer at Mojave Air and Space Port, California.
In the United States today they are working on the implementation of civilian “supersonic” projects, they are not part of their company and NASA. The benefits are obvious. The lines have an expedited route for delivering passengers and trucks; for example, today there are enough people who are willing to pay for it.
Prototype characteristics: length – 19 m, wing length – 6 m. GE J85-15 engines are equipped with a lifting capacity of 5580 kg. The pole reached a speed of 2170 m and a speed of 440 km/h.
This prototype is intended to be useful and the developers will be able to create it for you. The XB-1 is equipped with an additional stability system; the body and air intakes slow down the oncoming air flow to the required speed, which allows the use of conventional jet engines.
The XB-1 supports Overture on the super-jet line RA, designed to carry 80 passengers at a speed of 2030 km/h.
