Yandex NV has completed the internal restructuring of Yandex for its sale. The Dutch company received all the necessary permits for the transaction. The assets will be transferred to the new parent company of Yandex, registered in the Kaliningrad region.

The Dutch Yandex NV received all the necessary permits for the sale transaction of the Russian Yandex and carried out its internal restructuring. This is stated in a Yandex message.
The assets will be received by the new parent company of Yandex (MKPAO Yandex), registered in a special administrative region of the Kaliningrad region. Until the first stage of the transaction is closed, it will be under the control of Yandex NV
The transaction for the sale of the Russian Yandex will be carried out in two stages: in the first, a consortium of investors will buy control of MKPAO Yandex from Yandex NV. At the same time, Yandex’s new parent company will retain all of Yandex NV’s businesses and assets except for four new companies and a data center in Finland.
In March, Yandex announced that it had submitted an application to list on the Moscow Stock Exchange.
