On Yandex Go you can now share a ride with another passenger, even on the Intercity fare, the company said. A trip of this type will cost up to 30% less and its duration will increase by an average of only 15 minutes.

Upon completing such an order, the driver will receive payment from all passengers. If there are no travel companions, the driver will receive a bonus for the service.
A trip with an Intercity fare can be booked in advance: from three hours to three days. The mobile application will display information about the most convenient times to travel.
How the new service works
The algorithm selects orders with similar routes. A maximum of three passengers can travel together in the same car: two in the back seat and one in the front.
When picking up a passenger at a certain point, the driver will wait three minutes, after which he can leave so as not to delay other customers. There is a 10-minute stop along the way, but it will be included in the price of the trip.
Intercity orders are carried out by drivers with high qualifications. If you wish, you can reject such a request: the application will show if the destination is in another city.
