Office equipment manufacturer Hewlett-Packard (HP) has enabled automatic redirection from the hp.ru website to the Kazakh portal with information in Russian on products, ordering methods, repairs, etc. The site offers the ability to download drivers, search for authorized driver centers, but in the contact information of the manufacturer now there is no information about the addresses of offices and services in the Russian Federation.

Russian media that have paid attention to this change (Mash, Сnews, Sostav, etc.) consider this a consistent step by the company, which is systematically restricting its activities in Russia. The first statements in this regard were made in 2022, but in reality the liquidation process of HP Inc (the Russian subsidiary of HP) began in November 2023.
About a week before the changes to the website, Hewlett-Packard secretly suspended all operational activities: in Russia not only the contact details of technical support and offices are available, but their work stopped. According to some reports, HP’s last deliveries to the Russian Federation date back to February.
