The FAS had previously issued a warning to the Russian Post, according to which the company, as part of the exchange service between operators, should ensure the possibility of delivering administrative and judicial mail through alternative mail delivery operators.
“The relevant requirement is enshrined in the Rules on non-discriminatory access to the public postal services market,” the FAS stressed.
Russian Post, for its part, complied with the warning and made changes to its local regulations. It also improved the information systems necessary to provide these services.
The estimated operating profit of Russian Post showed a positive value for the first time since 2019. According to the results of the first half of 2024, it amounted to 101 million rubles.
