To receive compensation, you must submit a written claim to the company. No fines are payable for flight delays due to weather or flight safety conditions.
The chief editor of the Avia.ru portal, Roman Gusarov, believes that this measure will not be to the liking of passengers. In his opinion, they will be more encouraged by the simplification of the process of obtaining compensation, for example, the possibility of doing it with “one click” in the application or in the personal account.
Previously, for delay in the delivery of a passenger or luggage, the airline had to pay a fine of 25% of the established minimum wage for each hour of delay, but not more than half of the cost of transportation.
