The most notable increase in demand was recorded in Kazan (6.4 times), Krasnoyarsk – 156%, Ufa – 128%, Rostov-on-Don – 127%, Moscow – 96%, St. Petersburg – 92% .
The number of requests to organize cargo transportation from China has also increased. Throughout the country, year-on-year growth was 20%, in some cities record figures were observed: in Rostov-on-Don – 212%, Omsk – 174%, Nizhny Novgorod – 164%.
Trade turnover between Russia and China at the end of 2023 increased by 26.3%, amounting to $240.11 billion, according to data from Infoline-Analytics cited by Kommersant. Exports from China to Russia reached 110.97 billion dollars (an increase of 46.9%), imports from the Russian Federation – 129.14 billion dollars (an increase of 12.7%).
Infoline-Analytics noted that China represents a significant part of the supply of consumer goods, electronics and components for them, as well as automobiles.
According to Data Insight estimates, by the end of 2023, about 450,000 sellers sold their products on Wildberries and Ozon; By the end of 2024, their number could reach 700,000.
