Billionaire and businessman Elon Musk estimated the probability of destruction of humanity by artificial intelligence (AI) at between 10% and 20%, writes Business Insider.

Musk made this assessment while speaking at the four-day Abundance Summit.
“I think there is some possibility that AI will wipe out humanity.” <…> 10% or 20% more or less,” he said.
At the same time, Musk is confident that AI is worth the risk, even if there is a chance the technology could turn against people.
The billionaire also added that it is most likely that the positive scenario will outweigh the negative one.
