The viewer will witness such ridiculous and absurd actions of human characters that their actions are even less believable than the adventures of the monsters on the screen.

But is this a minus? Hardly. Rather, a tribute to tradition. You just need to remember that you need to watch this film with your brain turned off, otherwise you definitely won’t get any pleasure. Just hit it all over your face with your palm.

We know that the people in this world are nothing more than pawns, meant to advance the plot towards new dragon monsters, and their contribution to the story is so superficial that it seems that they themselves do not believe in what is happening around them.

But overall, the plot of the film, which could have been the basis for an exciting adventure, is seriously disappointing. Attention is blurred between several directions: from traveling to the Hollow Land to sudden battles for no apparent reason.

A new world has appeared here, but it’s boring

However, although the characters in the film are huge, there are problem with showing their size. It’s hard to understand today’s great monsters because the camera doesn’t always get their scale right. If there is no skyscraper or person nearby, it is difficult to judge their size, which reduces the impact of the scene. But the combat is still impressive, especially in traditional battles where the scale of the monsters is best seen. Godzilla now breathes atomic fire, and Kong has a new metal arm that makes him stronger. Michael Bay approves.
