Google started massively blocking email campaigns

Google has started massively blocking large email campaigns through its Gmail email service. All senders who do not meet the requirements specified by the company may be blocked.

Senders who send 5,000 or more emails daily and have not set up SPF/DKIM and DMARC mail authentication are subject to blocking.

Under requirements introduced on February 1, senders of mass mailings must implement one-click unsubscribe from emails, as well as respond to email unsubscribe requests within two days.

Additionally, if users mark more than 0.3% of a sender’s emails as “spam”, all of their emails will immediately be placed in the corresponding category.

With the new requirements for mailing lists, Google aims to combat a large amount of spam.
