Apple’s new mobile operating system will be introduced at a developer event on June 10. The rollout may feature a new design for iOS 18, similar to the operating system (visionOS) that powers Apple’s Vision Pro headset.
The VisionOS interface is distinguished by the presence of glass and translucent elements. If the rumor has anything to do with reality then iOS could change radically. At the same time, some experts do not believe that Apple will take such steps: the design will change towards the headset, but not as dramatically as they say.
Shared by an insider, the framework template will reportedly be included as part of Apple’s Design Resources for iOS 18, which helps developers create apps visually using programs like Sketch and Photoshop. Of course, whether this is real or not is completely unclear at this stage, but this concept is in line with previous rumors that iOS 18 will receive a visual overhaul inspired by VisionOS.
