Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab Active 5 in Brazil this Thursday (4). Focusing on durability and the B2B market, the company’s new durable tablet has a screen with military durability certification, 5G support and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
HE Galaxy Tab Active 5 aims to withstand all the rigors of a busy work routine. The tablet is equipped with an 8-inch screen, 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Preferring use in negative contexts, Galaxy Tab Active 5 incorporates technology Touch Sensitivity, a function that allows you to interact with the screen even when wearing glovesand Vision Booster, which makes it easier to view content even in sunny environments. There are also physical buttons on the sides and front that make navigation easier.
Another convenience for daily life is the inclusion of S Pen; A more durable version is available here. The pen is integrated into the body and can be useful for signatures and notes that require more precision.
Samsung Knox Vault and Knox Capture security tools are also available, providing an extra layer of protection for data located on the device. Finally, there is also support for Link to Cellular, a tool for pairing the device with Windows computers.
Military-grade protection
According to Samsung, Galaxy Tab Active 5 is MIL-STD-810H military certified, providing high protection against drops up to 1.8 m. It has an IP68 certificate that provides protection against water and dust, an anti-shock system for use in humid environments, and cleaning products in controlled environments.
Connectivity is not far behind: Samsung’s durable tablet supports 5G and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, providing high-speed internet access. Charging is done via the POGO connector (support sold separately), making charging easier.
Galaxy Tab Active 5 is now available for R$ 3,499 in its 128 GB storage version in green color.
