The Internet Development Institute (IRI) will allocate funds for the development of 40 Russian game projects starting from 2021.
As IRI Deputy General Director and curator of game and software development Andrei Voronkov said, new products will now be released much more often. However, the time spent on them can be beneficial, and it is quite large.
The largest projects of 2024 for Iran will be the RPG “Smuta”, the military RTS “Front Edge” and “Sparta”, as well as the already released “Secrets of the Museum”.
Clips related to “The Troubles” received 3.8 million views on various platforms. Lectures on the Time of Troubles – also as part of work on the game – more than 15 million. Here’s some in-game content at the intersection of several media. Next: materials about the Troubles in our social networks over the past year – 48 million views, more than a million likes.
Maybe there will be more after the launch! A creative historical journey has begun. The most interesting thing is ahead – many additions and updates. I have no doubt that the Troubles will continue.
— Andrey Voronkov
It is noted that Iran invested more than 1.5 billion rubles in the development of Russian video games in 2022 and 2023. According to Forbes, the development of “Smoots” cost about 500 million rubles. [РИА Новости]
