Vladimir Putin signed a law amending the Code of Administrative Offenses: Articles 3.5 and 14.3: Fines for unwanted calls and advertising of loans and loans without specifying specific prices will increase several times. The corresponding document is published on the legal information portal of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The fine for unwanted calls, that is, information for which consent has not been given or using automatic dialing means, increased from 2 to 2.5 thousand rubles for individuals, from 4 to 20 thousand rubles for officials and from 100 to 500 thousand rubles for companies up to 10-20 thousand for citizens, 20-100 thousand rubles for government representatives and 300-1000 thousand rubles for legal entities.

Changes are also being made to the article on the dissemination of information about credit and lending services without indicating their full cost (which constitutes a violation of the Law “On Advertising”). A fine of 40 to 100 thousand rubles is provided for officials and from 600 thousand to 1.6 million rubles for legal entities.
