Russian generic drug maker Ozon Pharmaceuticals is considering an initial public offering (IPO) in autumn 2024. This was reported by Vedomosti citing sources.

The company is able to raise more than 10 billion rubles. The company’s public offering of shares will return the pharmaceutical industry to the Moscow Stock Exchange, the publication’s interlocutors note.

Ozon Pharmaceuticals is constantly exploring various options for further business growth, including in the equity capital markets. If the company decides to hold an initial public offering, it will definitely announce it, said Andrey Gorshkov, CEO of Ozon Pharmaceuticals.

Ozon Pharmaceuticals was founded in 2001 in Zhigulevsk, Samara region. The company has no relationship with the Ozon market. According to the manufacturer’s own data, its portfolio includes 421 names of analogues of patented finished drugs, that is, generics.
