The Strigo Capital fund bought from Fplus the developer of programs for the Aurora operating system, Avroid LLC, and virtualization systems, Hyperus LLC. Market participants believe that the change of ownership was necessary to promote products among the company’s competitors, Kommersant writes.

Strigo Capital was created in mid-2023, its co-founders are the founder of the developer MyOffice, Dmitry Komissarov, the former vice-governor of St. Petersburg, Eduard Batanov, and the owner of Fplus, Alexey Melnikov.

Dmitry Komissarov said that the LLC was initially supposed to be under the management of the fund, but a year ago “legal aspects had not yet been resolved” in its structure, so Avroid and Hyperus received Fplus.

He added that after the companies came under the control of the fund, Fplus received funds invested in the purchase of organizations. The amount is not disclosed.

Fplus is a Russian infrastructure equipment manufacturer. The company produces products in several directions. Cooperates with leading Russian developers of operating systems and solutions: Research Institute “Scale”, “Basalt SPO”, “RED SOFT”, STC IT ROSA, “Open Mobile Platform” (OS “Aurora”) and others.
