The Tagansky Court in Moscow confiscated the assets of businessman, author of business courses Ayaz Shabutdinov and his colleague, director of the Like Center Vasily Alekseev, for a total amount of 100 million rubles. TASS reported this.
The court also extended Shabutdinov’s detention period until June 16, 2024. In addition, the list of charges against Shabutdinov has been expanded to 73 episodes of fraud, up from 50 previously.
The investigation accuses Shabutdinov of creating a false impression among buyers of his courses about the possibility of building a profitable business.
On November 3, 2023, a criminal case for fraud was opened against Ayaz Shabutdinov. On November 4 he was detained and his detention period was repeatedly extended.
