One of Russia’s largest telecom operators, MTS, announced that as of July 1, former DataLine director Yuri Samoilov will become MTS’s new vice president of infrastructure development.
Yuri Samoilov graduated from Moscow State Technical University. NE Bauman, he received an MBA degree in the "Management of a large company" program at the RANEPA Graduate School of International Business and an EMBA degree from Cranfield Business School, Cambridge (UK).
Yury has held senior positions in domestic IT companies since 2000, from 2005 to 2007 he worked as CEO of IBS DataFort and since 2007 he headed DataLine LLC (DataLine). This provider of cloud services and commercial data centers has been part of the Rostelecom-DPC group of companies since 2020.
As a result of the meeting of the MTS Board of Directors, the decision was also made to re-elect Felix Yevtushenkov as President and Regina von Flemming, Independent Director, as Vice President.
Independent director status was also confirmed by Paul Berryman, Shaigan Kheradpir, Thomas Holtrop, Nadya Shurabura and Valentin Yumashev.
