Airbus makes installation on environmentally friendly aviation. P

The H225 has successfully passed its first test flights, and now the airline giant plans to certify the fuel for commercial aviation by 2030, which will cut CO2 emissions by half without regard to flight performance.

In the course of events at the end of 2020, the H225 took off with a fully fueled SAF engine, as a result of which one of the A380’s engines was refueled in March. On the current flight, both engines of the H225 helicopter were refueled with SAF fuel. The purpose of the test flights is to check the possible operation of the engines on fuel and to find out how it works. Further, its efficiency is tested on other types of helicopters.

An important property of SAF is the ability to characterize it with aviation kerosene at a frequency of 50:50 without engine modifications, which is – by 85% – the emission frequency. CO2.
