Just a year ago, 62% of company executives expected a full return to the office by 2026. They even touted incentives such as salary increases and promotions to attract employees. However, the situation has changed. Today, only one-third of business leaders expect a full turnaround within the next three years.
The data speaks for itself. Almost half (46%) of business leaders now see hybrid working as the future; This rate is significantly higher than 34% in 2023. Moreover, some are not satisfied with working from home for a few days. A growing number of managers (one in three) are considering a radical idea: a four-day work week.
This shift coincides with reports of increased employee turnover and hiring difficulties at companies that have implemented strict return-to-office policies.
