MTS announced the launch of a function for blocking unwanted calls in the Defender application for subscribers of any operators.
All incoming calls detect results depending on the threat:
► red: controlled dangerous
► yellow: warns about possible spam
► green: reliable calls
Red calls are automatically forwarded to a bot, which independently talks to the scammer. Call blocking and full conversation transcript.
The database of telephone numbers is constantly updated using Big Data technology from MTS, using information from open sources and directories. The number of active uses of caller ID functions in the Defender application increased by 14% over the month compared to the first quarter. Spam complaints have increased by 55%, which shows that users need to block unwanted calls.
