Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman continues to share insights about the new Macs.
Today, in its newsletter, Power-On declassified the timely release of Macs with the M4 processor. Here’s what he’s waiting for:
1. The base 14-inch MacBook Pro will be released around the end of 2024.
2. The 24-inch iMac with M4 chip will also accompany at the same time
3. New 14-inch and 16-inch top-end MacBook Pros with M4 Pro/Max chips should be released in late 2024 by early 2025.
4. Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro will appear in late 2024 to early 2025.
5. New 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Airs are planned for spring 2025.
6. Mac Studio with the M4 chip will appear around mid-2025.
7. Mac Pro with M4 Ultra chip will be released in the second half of 2025.
Gurman noted that Apple has tested the M3 Ultra chip. However, some future computers do not receive it and will go straight to M4.
