Chrome Capital’s portfolio includes money transfer service Transfer Go, a cloud platform for translations into multiple foreign languages using Smartcat AI, British financial technology startup Fintech Farm and other projects.
Savin plans to use his experience raising funds from large international institutional investors to create a new global venture fund within 12 to 18 months.
In the mid-1990s, Savin graduated from Harvard Business School, after which he worked in the private equity team at Bain & Company, in its Boston and London offices. In 2003-2009 he was president of the investment company A1, part of the Alfa Group. After that, Savin focused on the projects of Elbrus Capital (the first fund managed by Elbrus with a volume of $324 million appeared in 2007, the second for $550 million in 2014, the third for $316 million in 2021).
