Motorola announced this Tuesday (16). launch of new Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ wireless headphones. The second of the models brings an interesting innovation: the company’s first commercial product resulting from its partnership with audio brand Bose..
The new true wireless (TWS) headphones offer features such as Hi-Res sound (high quality) and similar format in a compact size. However, while the Moto Buds have a flatter and more simplified surface, the bodies of the Buds+ have a cylindrical surface and are more sophisticated. It is worth considering that both have splash protection.
On the Moto Buds side, we see more colorful headphones. It comes in options like black, green, orange and blue — on all of them, the exterior of the case is white, while the interior matches the tone of the headphones. For the Buds+, the company offers black and grey/beige options.
The company brings a unique audio driver and a battery with up to 9 hours of usage life for Moto Buds. Considering the case, autonomy can reach up to 42 hours. The Buds+ have two drivers and an estimated autonomy of 8 hours, or 38 hours with the case’s battery; This is the only model with wireless charging.
With in-ear format, both headphones feature dynamic active noise cancellation (ANC, up to 48dB). This feature allows you to use full noise canceling mode, which is adaptive (takes into account external noise during use) and transparent (pays more attention to external noise).
It’s also worth noting that it supports both touch and gestures, has a USB-C port on the case, and has its own apps for configuration.
Moto Buds+ with Bose sound
In Moto Buds+, users will find a different design as well as some additional features. According to Motorola, the partnership with Bose brings certification from the audio specialist brand to improve the quality of sound emitted.
Dolby Atmos, spatial audio and Dolby Head Tracking, which takes into account the movement of the user’s head to adjust the sound. This feature is only available on supported devices like the new Edge 50 Ultra.
Despite the announcement of the new Edge 50 series handsets, Motorola has yet to announce the date or prices of its new wireless headphones.
