The main advantage of the catheter is that it provides visibility of the urethra during the procedure, making the procedure safer and more effective. According to the developers, this is especially important for patients with acute urinary retention, for whom the use of the new device shows almost one hundred percent effectiveness.

Bladder catheterization is widely used in medicine, but in some cases, traditional methods may not be effective enough due to the patient’s comorbidities. Visus-MG avoids additional surgical procedures such as cystoscopy or cystostomy.

Experts emphasize that before the development of Visus-MG, no such device existed in Russia.
