The court satisfied Rospotrebnadzor’s demands for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and decided to prohibit the retailer Leroy Merlin from canceling online orders. This is stated in the department’s message.
The law does not provide for the seller’s right to unilaterally refuse to execute a sales contract concluded remotely, Rospotrebnadzor noted.
“In addition, the store assumes full responsibility for the correct delivery of the products to the consumer,” the department added.
Previously, Leroy Merlin customers in the Krasnoyarsk Territory complained en masse that the store canceled their online orders. It was reported that the minimum online purchase was limited to 20 thousand rubles due to the large load and the time required to prepare online orders was increased.
