Private sellers of products on Avito turned to the FAS with complaints that the service imposed unfavorable conditions of cooperation. The service has received complaints and they are being reviewed, Shopper’s reported.

On the other hand, sellers noted that the commission amount is now calculated at the time the buyer places the order. This violates the consumer protection law, the sellers specified in their complaints.

At the end of March, Avito warned users about an imminent increase in commission for selling products with Avito Delivery. The commission increased in April and in some categories now reaches 11%; Previously the commission for all categories was set at 5%.

The Avito press service told RB.RU that the company compensates customers up to 90% of shipping costs for a significant number of transactions, which allows the user to keep the cost low, regardless of the outbound route. .

“We are currently improving our approach to calculating commissions and user notifications and collecting feedback from our users. Later we will be able to adapt the service taking into account the responses,” Avito said.

The company did not rule out that the cost of the commission could be reduced in the future and be uniform for all categories.
