There are three parallel universes, the photo has a reasonable explanation.

In the photo, the bride is seen in three different positions.

during last weekend Interesting photo taken with iPhone went viral. In the photo shared by writer and comedian Tessa Coates, a bride wearing a wedding dress is seen in front of two mirrors. The reflected images of Tessa Coates appear in different poses and show what she looks like. three different realities.

fluctuated all kinds of theories floating around the internet throughout the weekend. Some think it’s an optical effect, others dare to claim that the iPhone opens a portal to two alternate realities, there are even those who claim that Tessa Coates has two demonic soulmates.

The truth is that the explanation is much simpler and more banal than all these theories. And no, the photo has not been edited. We explain what happened next.

The most viral photo of iPhone

Tessa Coates posted the photo on her Instagram account after trying on a wedding dress in a store. Stunned by the image, the comedian assured that the photo was “not edited, not a Live Photo, or a panoramic photo.”

After all, it might be a good idea to see how the dress looks in different positions…

You can see this in the photo Tessa Coates holds three different positions. One has his arms down, the other has one arm in the air, and the other has their fingers intertwined over his stomach. You can see the original photo here.

So what happened? Did we open a portal to other dimensions? This is not a failure in the Matrix, the explanation is much simpler than it seems. and while it’s not as exciting as the internet expected, it’s still pretty intriguing.

A YouTuber named Faruk shared the statement via Threads. After reviewing the metadata of the photo, you learned that this photo taken with the iPhone 12 was accidentally taken at a different resolution setting.

So it is not a normal and ordinary photo. About A photo taken in a panoramic setting. Tessa Coates claimed this wasn’t shot in Panorama mode or other camera settings on the iPhone, and she’s technically right…

The photo has resolution 3,028 x 3,948 pixels but the iPhone 12’s camera takes photos at native resolution 4,516 x 3,874 pixels. What happened here is that when she raised her arms to pose, a panoramic photo was taken.

“What was happening was that his arms were down and he was moving his arm. Maybe he moved his right arm first and then his left arm. Meanwhile the camera was in Panorama mode and it was putting all the movements together.”

The problem is that the iPhone 12 couldn’t detect that it was a panoramic photo because the image was not wide enoughtherefore the operating system did not identify it as a panoramic photo.

So if you’ve gotten excited thinking about asking your “selves” in other parallel universes how life is going, we’re sorry to disappoint you, but… this isn’t a failure of the Matrix, just a failure of the photographer.
