The most important innovation is Shopping Collections. Bloggers are encouraged to create product selections from their favorite brands for viewers. Collections can be thematic (for example, “makeup for every day” or “capsule wardrobe”).

Collections will appear in the relevant blogger’s product listing, Shop tab, and video description.

For now, you can only create collections in the YouTube Studio app on your smartphone, but this option will soon appear on your computer.

YouTube is also launching the Affiliate Hub, a section of the app where information about shopping partners, available commission rates, and promotional codes will be collected.

Here you can also request product samples from brands for reviews. The idea behind the innovation is to help bloggers plan shopping videos more easily.

Another change: Fourthwall website builder has been added to the list of integrated platforms and helps create online stores.
