Now, to transfer the buyer’s personal data to the Federal Customs Service (FTS) when placing an order from China and Uzbekistan, the user must pass verification through State Services.
According to the market’s press service, this is necessary to ensure the veracity of the user’s information, since if there is an error in the buyer’s data, the order will not be able to cross the border between countries.
Additionally, if the value of the merchandise exceeds €200, the customer must pay duties on the amount that exceeds the duty-free import threshold. “Delivery of goods from abroad is only available with advance payment,” the message clarifies.
Wildberries introduced authorization in summer 2022. However, users could confirm their account through other services, such as Tinkoff ID.
