According to the chairman of the board of directors of the credit institution, Sberbank is actively designing and plans to “build a new airport.” Gref clarified that the investments to increase the track by 500 meters will be borne by the government.
The authorities will also finance the implementation of a new lighting system and navigation equipment.
Gref noted that tourists will also use the Sbera and Manzherok ski resorts, located in the Altai Republic.
“This airport, with a capacity of 150 thousand passengers, should now become an airport with a capacity of up to 1.5 million passengers. We see a very large increase in the flow, including due to the fact that we are developing a fairly large ski resort there,” Gref said, quoted by Interfax.
A subsidiary of Sistema, Sistema Telecom Assets LLC, previously reported the sale of 60% of the capital of one of its subsidiaries. The name of the company was not revealed in the report, but the amount of the transaction was indicated: 2.4 billion rubles.
