After an 11-month break, the 2GIS application returned to the Google Play store. It has been available there since 2011 and has over 100 million installs and 1.3 million high ratings. Currently, approximately 20 million people use the app every month.

2GIS CEO expressed his gratitude to users for their support in the absence of the application and noted that their return to the Google Play application store will facilitate the use of the service. The app now has new features such as realistic 3D models of landmarks and green spaces, the ability to create walking routes inside buildings, and the ability to select the nearest car park or entrance before starting the route. Users can also share their location with friends, allowing them to get closer and meet up more often.
