Venture fund Voskhod, whose lead investor is Vladimir Potanin’s Interros, has invested in the Russian developer of the AI-based SaaS platform Syntelly. This was reported to RB.RU by a representative of the fund.
The platform allows you to search and analyze information in the field of organic and medicinal chemistry.

The amount of the transaction, the share received by the fund and the valuation of the company are not disclosed. Funding was provided as part of the seed round.
According to the Kontur.Focus system, as of December 12, 2023, 57.5% of Syntelly LLC belongs to co-founder Maxim Fedorov, 20% to Sergei Sosnin, 10% to the co-founder of Syntelly and the founder of the company Ashmanov Neural Networks. Stanislav Ashmanov, 7.5%, to the owner of Foresight Ventures, Vyacheslav Shulenin, 5%, to the president of InfoWatch, Natalya Kasperskaya.
- Syntelly is a database of more than 155 million chemical compounds and more than 160 million bibliographic sources. The tool allows you to search for experimental data, as well as predict physicochemical, biological, environmental properties, toxicity of substances, store and process the information found.
- You can search for substances both by their structure and by name based on various chemical identifiers.
- The solution can be used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industries, in the field of intellectual property protection, patent search, regulatory activities and education.
- The product is analogous to international electronic directories of chemical information: Reaxys, SciFinder and others, which are not available to consumers in Russia and Belarus. The company’s current clients include Rospatent, Artgen Biotech, Infamed and Kazan Federal University.
The funds raised will be used to expand the database and R&D.
Sintelli LLC’s revenue at the end of 2023 amounted to 10.3 million rubles against 8.6 million rubles the previous year, net loss was 1.6 million rubles against a net profit of 8.9 million of rubles in 2022.
