According to New Atlas, the robot does not appear to have any means of transportation, so it remains motionless while performing targeted actions. But as observers of the source note, the level and quality of housework is impressive.
Astribot can move at a speed of 10 m/s and withstand a load of up to 10 kg. As noted, the seller’s website states that the average adult male does not reach such indicators; but it is unclear why a person would need this.
The manufacturer guarantees (and demonstrates this in the video) that the stated speed is sufficient to remove the tablecloth from under the pyramid of wine glasses without letting them fall. The robot can also carefully pour wine, open bottles, peel and slice cucumbers, flip sandwiches in a pan, fold laundry, and even write calligraphy. All actions of the “robot maid” are not only fast but also accurate. And New Atlas even claims to have revolutionized the world of home robotics.
The company Stardust Intelligence appeared in 2022, the development of Astribot took a year. However, neither the other features of the robot nor the timing of its launch were specified.
“The name Astribot comes from the old Latin proverb “Ad astra per aspera,” meaning “journey through difficulties to reach stardust,” symbolizing the company’s long-term plan and strong commitment to the development and dissemination of artificial intelligence robotics. The seller’s website says.
