The Independent included the following information in its news regarding the Apple event announcement: “Apple will livestream the launch worldwide, but it will be accompanied by an event in London, which may explain the unusually early launch. “The company held the presentation virtually at home in California, and holding it in the UK represents a break with tradition.”
Journalists and bloggers from around the world are expected to attend the special meeting at the Battersea Apple store. As in previous events, participants will be able to see the new products in person after the virtual presentation.
The choice of location could point to the anticipated unveilings of the new iPad Pro, iPad Air, Magic Keyboard, and Apple Pencil, as well as the worldwide launch of the Vision Pro (currently exclusive to the US market).
