The legendary ambitious company Black Hawk Sikorsky presents a new technology – or rather, a complete reincarnation. In the New quality it will be a completely autonomous vehicle, for example, in the cockpit there will be… a cargo compartment.
In fact, there is nothing new in the unmanned evolution of the Black Hawk – many of Sikorsky’s partners with DARPA agents are already announcing the conversion of production models into drones. As a result, the C-70UAS U-Hawk was launched from the UH-60L Black Hawk available for this purpose at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) exhibition.

They were associated with the Lockheed Martin concern (Sikorsky is its parent company), or the concept was developed before launching into production. The most important thing is that the first drone pole can be used next year. The new U-Hawk aircraft utilizes Matrix and Sikorsky technology in its 3rd generation fly-by-wire system, which is recommended for flying an aircraft such as a UAV. The Matrix completely eliminates the pilot’s functions and uses his landing position.
The main control of the U-Hawk is taken out of the operator’s control. a protected tablet that tells the helicopter only the main objectives of the mission, while the Matrix takes over everything else. In the future, the U-Hawk will be able to overload large trucks and autonomous transport vehicles. That’s why Sikorsky uses the T700-GE-701C engine with a lifting capacity of about 4,100 tons. kg.
