The car sharing service BelkaCar will double its fleet in 2024 to 10,000 cars. The company intends to strengthen its presence in the cities of central Russia.

As the service told TASS, last month it added Nizhny Novgorod to the driving zone. Now BelkaCar plans to increase its presence in Kaliningrad.
At the end of 2023, BelkaCar increased its revenue by 22% year-on-year to 5.3 billion rubles. The company’s net loss amounted to 909 thousand rubles, 98% less than in 2022 (45.4 million rubles).
Russian car-sharing services have been actively expanding their vehicle fleets recently amid growing demand for car rental services. In the first quarter of 2024 alone, Delimobil increased its fleet by 34%, up to 26.8 thousand vehicles.
As can be seen from the data of the TopCar company, before the May holidays, demand for shared vehicles by Russians increased by 18% year-on-year.
