The recommendations are included in the 142-page report presented Tuesday.

The report, titled Children and Screens: In Search of Lost Time, follows a three-month study assessing the impact of screen exposure on young people.

Experts believe that children under the age of 11 should not use mobile phones at all, access to social networks for those under the age of 13 should be completely closed, and those between the ages of 15-18 should be limited to “ethically minded” people.

The report also includes recommendations for young children: Children under the age of three should not be exposed to screens in any way, and from the age of six, exposure to screens should be limited and monitored.
