Google has added a label to government apps available in the Play Store. Now, programs in app stores have a “Government” icon so users can more easily identify official apps.
In addition to making it faster to find the apps you need, the Google tag also gives you greater security and confidence when downloading. More than 2,000 applications have been verified so far, including those from the Brazilian government.
In addition to Brazil, software from governments in Australia, Canada, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, the United States, Indonesia, India, and Mexico is also included.
