The “Oh F*ck Go Back” (OFGB) program, developed by a programmer under the pseudonym Maddy (@xM4ddy), came to the rescue. This tool allows you to disable any type of advertising on the system with one click.

The program has an easy-to-use graphical interface that shows which types of ads can be removed.

Each ticked box safely edits the registry, eliminating the risk of accidental operating system corruption due to typos.

The utility has already gained moderate popularity on Reddit and Twitter platforms, attracting thousands of users.

Maddy, who prefers Linux herself, created this tool because of her annoyance with ads in Windows.

“I think the most important thing this tool did was get people talking about advertising and its place in paid software like Windows,” Maddy said. He also noted that the program encourages users to consider alternative software solutions such as Linux.
