Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk advised Berkshire Hathaway investment company founder and CEO Warren Buffett to invest money in Tesla.

“I should take a position at Tesla. This is an obvious step,” Elon Musk wrote on his X social network page.

By early April, Berkshire Hathaway had accumulated $189 billion in balances as the company’s stake in Apple and Chevron declined. This amount was a record for the amount of cash accumulated; the previous record of $167.6 billion was set in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Buffett previously called Tesla’s success in the auto business a “minor miracle.” At the same time, Tesla’s quotes on the Nasdaq have been going through difficult times since the beginning of the year; They have fallen 26.3%.
