The benchmark database stated that the M4-powered iPad Pro achieved 3,767 points in single-core and 14,677 points in multi-core; That’s about 1.5 times higher than the M2-powered iPad Pro, which scored around 2,500 and 10,000. respectively.

Using second-generation 3nm process technology, the M4 chip contains 280 billion transistors and is a new SoC architecture that clearly improves the power efficiency of the device.

The processor includes 10 cores, four high-performance and six energy-saving, with improved decoding and execution mechanisms.

Additionally, the M4 integrates a 10-core GPU based on the latest graphics architecture that includes dynamic caching, hardware support for mesh shading, and ray tracing for the first time on the iPad.
