This measure is necessary to “stimulate the renewal and development of tourist infrastructure.” In early spring 2022, a zero VAT rate was introduced for investors in tourism infrastructure.

The new range of services that will be covered by the benefit was identified by government officials as follows:

  • SPA services
  • visit to the pool,
  • visiting the gym,
  • visit to the bathhouse,
  • cosmetic procedures,
  • internet access services,
  • guarded parking services
  • and rental of conference rooms.

“The decision will help create more attractive package offers for tourists,” the Cabinet of Ministers wrote on its channel.
