The SKB Kontur group company, dedicated to software development, announced the start of closed tests for clients of a new online bank integrated into the business ecosystem. In May, customers were offered to be among the “first users to influence the development of Kontur.Bank” and solve several problems in a single window.

Ecosystem users who decide to open a bank account are promised no hidden fees, free service, payments to the budget and transfers to companies without commissions and amount restrictions, as well as free transfers to individuals in the amount of up to 5 million rubles . . Connection to the ecosystem is paid, but official prices are not available on the ecosystem website.

As part of the Kontur ecosystem, companies already have access to electronic document management, participation in procurement, counterparty verification, online cash registers and dozens of other services, and will now be able to use banking services within a single window.

The group hopes to increase its customer base by integrating with the bank and is offering to open accounts for new customers in order to participate in the supposedly closed tests. You can open an account at Kontur.Bank remotely in 5 minutes by uploading photos of documents and signing an application using CEP.

The SKB Kontur group of companies bought the Yekaterinburg bank in 2022 and a year later renamed it Kontur.Bank, designating this event as “the final stage of combining the bank and the ecosystem for the Kontur business.” At that time, the group clarified that we were only talking about changing the name, the working conditions did not change, and they promised to transition to a new web address and logo gradually. The software company planned to invest more than 5 billion rubles in the bank over five years and launch on its basis an Internet bank for businesses, including the self-employed, Forbes wrote.

The Kontur brand belongs to the SKB Kontur group of companies, founded in 1988 by Soviet millionaire Artem Tarasov. SKB Kontur’s revenue in 2023 amounted to 32.6 billion rubles, 26% more than the previous year. The authorized capital of Kontur.Bank is 76 million rubles.
