According to sources familiar with the matter, S7 Technics has already overhauled 12 CFM56−5B and 7B engines since October 2023. The company is currently preparing to offer its engine repair services to other airlines.
The overhaul of the CFM56 hot section, the engine’s most complex part, is a testament to S7 Technics’ technical expertise. Previously, such an opportunity was considered unattainable in Russia due to economic factors and dependence on foreign services.
