“The proportion of free space in shopping centers is now on average 5-8%. This is a success, friends,” Kuznetsov said at the Mallpic Sochi exhibition and conference, as quoted by TASS.
As follows from the data of the NF Group, at the beginning of 2024, the share of free space in shopping centers in the capital was 8.4%, in St. Petersburg – 7.1%.
As Pavel Lyulin, vice president of the Council of Shopping Centers, reported in February, the share of Russian fashion companies in shopping centers increased by an average of 20 percentage points following the massive departure of Western brands.
For example, the Victoria’s Secret and Zara Home sites in the large metropolitan shopping center “Metropolis” attracted the interest of the national chain “Blind Chicken.”
