Chairman of the Accounts Chamber Boris Kovalchuk announced price controls in the field of digitalization in the context of lifting the moratorium on controls on IT companies.

The technical director of Blank Bank, Kirill Bantukov, in conversation with RB.RU called the resumption of inspections an additional opportunity to sell its products to small and medium-sized businesses.

According to Bantukov, special attention will be paid to monopolistic companies during checks.

“Of course, inspectors will be tempted to check small IT companies, but auditors will pay attention to those that have more money,” Bantukov said.

Bantukov also called the introduction of inspections a positive trend for import substitution in SMEs. According to Blank’s estimates, the level of import substitution in small and medium-sized companies is less than 20%.

“By intensifying controls on the validity of prices and margins of current companies’ products, prices can be reduced and made more affordable for small businesses,” emphasized Blanca’s technical director.
