The GenGo artificial intelligence-powered business navigator for entrepreneurs team analyzed responses from 1,200 respondents who run companies with revenues of up to 50 million rubles per month. The survey showed that 49% of them have clear long-term goals.

The same number of entrepreneurs are aware of the risks and restrictions for the development of their business and have a plan to face them. Nearly one in six respondents said they have an idea of how to scale and develop their business.

“Any route is built from point A to point B; The probability of reaching your goal automatically increases when you know where you are going. However, according to the cases collected by our team, entrepreneurs often open a business pursuing the desire to go somewhere, for example, from a contract job that they do not like and poorly paid,” says Kirill Popov, CEO of GenGo.

He also highlights that the lack of clear objectives is one of the reasons why only 10% of startups survive.

We previously wrote that 41% of Russians are ready to change their region of residence to open a business.
