Microsoft Edge will have a native artificial intelligence (AI) theme builder. The function will offer the user more customization opportunities and allow advanced models to create a theme that will decorate the browser.

The “AI Theme Builder” feature has been found on the official Microsoft 365 timeline. According to the statement, the AI assistant will create a theme based on a text prompt.

According to the description, the theme creator will display a set of preview images. The user needs to choose one of the generated options to apply it to the browser. As with normal images, the entire browser’s color palette will be changed to the selected wallpaper.

Microsoft states in the program that this feature was included on Thursday (9) of this month. The vehicle is planned to be launched in June 2024.

Currently, Microsoft already offers an alternative for creating built-in themes in Copilot. The wizard takes advantage of the features of the DALL-E 3 model to create images.

Arguably unlike other programs’ alternatives, Microsoft Edge’s theme creator needs to create high-resolution images.

It will be available to everyone soon

According to Microsoft, this functionality will be available to all users. It is unclear whether the user can request new themes at any time or whether the request will consume any type of virtual credits. AI image generators often limit the number of requests to prevent servers from being overloaded.

Additionally, the tipster on X known as @Leopeva64 discovered that Chrome will also feature a theming AI. The feature is fully functional, but it is in Chrome Canary, one of the most unstable versions of the browser.

In this case, there is no prediction about the launch of the tool or whether it will be available to all users.
