The True Tech Day IT conference from MTS gathered 3.6 thousand participants and became the only one in Russia.

MTS held a large-scale IT conference True Tech Day 2.0, the key topic of which was the connection between science and technology.

As part of the program, the company announced the launch of a master’s program at the Higher School of Economics. It will train specialists in the field of AI. MTS is also conducting a joint study with the Higher School of Economics on the innovative maturity of Russian companies.

During True Tech Day, participants discussed scientific directions and trends in digital transformation.

First Vice-Rector of the Higher School of Economics Leonid Gokhberg spoke about the future of world science. In his opinion, science is becoming more and more expensive and accessible, “scientific” color between different plants, and it is becoming accessible to states of a narrow circle.

The conference also announced the creation of its own public cloud platform MTS, investments of which by the end of 2025 will amount to 7.5 billion rubles. They plan to deploy it on the MTS infrastructure: their data centers from Moscow to Vladivostok, hundreds of thousands of kilometers of communication channels.

Finally, the winners of the True Tech Hack hackathon were announced at True Tech Day:

• Nomination “Improving the customer experience of the MTS Live storefront for users with special needs”: Rangers of Accessibility team from St. Petersburg

• Nomination “Development of voice control for MTS Fintech based on artificial intelligence for people with disabilities”: the “Hitchhiker’s Guide to Hackathons” team with developers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh and Rostov-on-Don

This year’s True Tech Day conference focused not only on modern technologies, but also on their connection with science. Our goal is united fundamental inventions and business developments in the IT field. I am sure that this can lead to the rapid development of the Russian technology industry. The MTS True Tech Day conference brought together 3,600 participants and more than 85 thousand online viewers in the MTS Live Hall. The program featured five tracks, within which 50 experts spoke. The event featured gaming areas where IT professionals could win prizes.
